How it works
Answer 20 yes/no questions to measure your school's gender sport gap. Receive bespoke recommendations for what you can do about it.

This scorecard tool has been developed by a team of gender sport gap experts to help you identify what you can tell about measurable differences between genders in your school, when it comes to PE, sport and physical activity. The results will also help you to work out which areas you need to focus on in order to close those gaps.
You'll be scoring your school against the following key areas in gender and sport, as well as knowledge and analysis

Confidence
If children (or staff) are lacking confidence about their skills and abilities this can impact their actions, which in turn can have an effect on the messages sent to others across the school.

Participation
If you're not in the game you won't improve your skills or confidence. What your pupils and staff do (and don't do) can have a massive impact, both on themselves and the messages they send to others.

Performance
There should be no difference in the physical abilities of primary school aged children based on their gender, but there often is. This gap can widen as children move up through the school.
